LAWRENCE LEVI

writer + editor

I’ve been writing about culture since the 1990s. Years ago I cowrote The Film Snob’s Dictionary (Broadway Books), which was a Los Angeles Times best seller. My articles have appeared in the New York Times, Vanity Fair, Los Angeles Times, New York Observer, and many other publications.

Currently I’m a senior editor with the New York Times Licensing Group. Over the years I’ve held editorial positions at Condé Nast, Time Inc., and other media companies. I live in Brooklyn.

Lately I’ve been doing a lot of street photography. What else have I been I up to? Poke around here to find out.
